David Thomas

David Thomas is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and consumer research. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Robeco since July 2022, David previously held the position of Portfolio Manager at Ellerston Capital from August 2016 to November 2021. Prior to that, David was the Head of Australian Consumer Research at CLSA, where responsibilities included consumer research and associate development. David's career also includes significant roles such as Finance Director at Filter Clear, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, and Equities Analyst at Macquarie Group. David began in finance as an Accountant at PwC. Academic qualifications include a degree in business and finance from Swinburne University of Technology and a leadership course at Harvard Business School.
