Gary Mikoen

Gary Mikoen has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Gary started their career in 2014 as a Technical Support at Notice Branded Media, where they prepared and coordinated hardware installations, solved hardware problems for customers, and managed complaints resulting in positive surveys. In 2017, they worked as an AI Intern at Anchormen. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Software Engineer at Capgemini, where they developed their skills in software engineering. In 2019, they joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2021. In 2021, they joined Bosch as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Robeco, starting in July 2022. Additionally, in 2014, Gary worked as an Academy Assistant at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where they were involved in a project focusing on medical trust networks.

Gary Mikoen attended the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Lifestyle Informatics. Gary then continued their education at VU Amsterdam and completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Artificial Intelligence from 2014 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Gary obtained several certifications. In June 2019, they earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In November 2018, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification. Moreover, in October 2020, Gary acquired the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
