Johan Bom

Johan Bom has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Johan started their career at Amgen International as a Trainee in 2006. Johan then worked as a Resource Manager at Robeco from October 2006 to July 2007. Johan then transitioned to Sogeti Netherlands, where they worked as a Professional Business Solutions from August 2006 to August 2007. Johan also worked as an IT Management Consultant at Logica from August 2007 to April 2011. Johan joined Rabobank in October 2007 as a Quality and Risk Coordinator until September 2013. Johan then became a Senior Process Manager, in charge of business, IT, and project Risk Management, Business Process Improvement initiatives, and IT Service Management until March 2014. Johan continued their journey at Rabobank as a Business Analyst Cyber Security from April 2014 to May 2015. Johan also worked at Avans+ as a Senior Lecturer Cybersecurity from February 2019 to the present. Johan currently holds the position of Information Security Officer and Information Security Assurance Officer at Robeco since May 2015 and November 2020, respectively.

Johan Bom has a diverse education history in the field of information security, risk management, and business management. Johan attended Zoomvliet College from 1998 to 2002, where they studied network and system maintenance. Johan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Implementation and Process Management at Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2002 to 2006.

In 2006, Johan took an E-business course at Ohio University. Following that, they enrolled in NCOI Business School from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a Master's degree in Risk Management. Continuing their education, Johan attended TIAS School for Business and Society from 2011 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Executive Information Security Management (MISM).

Johan also holds additional certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2019, they obtained the Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) certification from EC-Council. Additionally, in 2020, they received the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA.
