Mario Bellotto

Mario Bellotto has extensive work experience in the financial industry, specifically in the areas of foreign exchange trading, technical analysis, and transition management. Mario started their career in 1986 with an internship at Consulaat Generaal der Nederlanden in Antwerp. From 1989 to 1990, they served as the Director at Fresinco Bebidas S.A. in the Canary Islands. Mario then joined Robeco Direct in 1990, initially working as a Junior Advisor and later as a Senior Advisor. In 1992, they became the Senior Treasury Manager and Portfoliomanager Hedge Centre/Intermarket Technical Analyst at Robeco, where they specialized in currency and cash management activities for various departments and accounts. In 2014, Mario transitioned to the role of Senior Foreign Exchange trader, managing currency-related business globally for Robeco. Additionally, during their tenure at Robeco, they also performed the role of Intermarket Technical Analyst and played a key role in the transition to the new Robeco building. In May 2017, their role as Transition Manager concluded.

Mario Bellotto has an extensive education history in the field of finance and investment. In 1984, they attended HZ University of Applied Sciences, where they studied economic-linguistics. In 1988, they also briefly attended Open Universiteit, where they pursued a degree in Law.

In 1996, Mario enrolled at the Beleggings- en financiële analisten Morreau Instituut (Vereniging van Beleggingsanalisten), earning a degree in Investment and Financial Analyst (RBA). Mario continued their education in 2000 at The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies, obtaining the EFFAS certification as a Financial Analyst.

Furthermore, in the same year, Mario joined the Dutch Securities Institute and completed their studies to become a Senior Effectenhandelaar, focusing on integrity. Mario later attended The Market Technicians Association from 2004 to 2007, where they earned the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, specializing in technical analysis. In 2009, they participated in a seminar conducted by Dr. Alexander Elder, focusing on Technical Analysis.

Mario'seducational journey continued with a seminar by Dr. Alexander Elder called "The Essential Skills of a Pro Trader" at Seminar Dr. Alexander Elder in 2014. Mario also pursued a VU-VBA opleiding in Investment Management en VBA beleggingsprofessionals in 2017, completing the Periodieke Toets DSI senior Effectenhandelaar.

From 2020 to 2023, Mario attended NIBE-SVV Opleidingen‎, participating in the Effectenhandelaar Permanent Vakbekwaam program each year. Mario has obtained the certification of DSI Senior Effectenhandelaar from DSI, although the specific year of obtaining the certification is not provided.
