Patrick Houweling

Patrick Houweling has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Patrick started their career as a Researcher at Rabobank International, where they conducted research on market and default risk of corporate bonds, term structure estimation, and credit derivative valuation. Patrick then joined Robeco Investments as a Senior Quantitative Researcher and later became a Senior Portfolio Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for managing quantitative credits portfolios, developing factor-based investment strategies, and presenting research to clients. Additionally, they served as an Innovation Trainer at Robeco, delivering workshops on innovation to employees. Patrick also had a leadership role as the Chairman of the GroenLinks Lansingerland political party.

Patrick Houweling obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Patrick then pursued a PhD in Finance at the same university, completing it between 1998 and 2003. In 2008, Patrick attended IMD for a program titled "Orchestrating Winning Performances."
