Robert Wapenaar

Robert Wapenaar has a diverse work experience in the field of data management and development. Robert started their career at Rijksgebouwendienst as a Data Warehouse Developer in July 2007. Robert then moved to SNS Bank as a Data Warehouse Management role from November 2007 to June 2008. Robert joined Robeco in July 2008 as a Data Integration Developer and held the same position for almost five years until April 2013. Robert then worked at Liberty Global as an ETL Developer from April 2013 to October 2013. In October 2013, they joined Rabobank as a PowerCenter Developer until October 2014. From November 2014 to December 2016, they returned to Robeco as a Data Integration Developer. Robert joined Volksbank in March 2017 as a Data Warehouse Management role until February 2018. Robert then joined Vopak as a DWH Developer from July 2017 to August 2018. Robert later rejoined Robeco as a Data Integration Developer in October 2017 and continues to work for them. Most recently, in July 2020, they joined Vopak again as a DWH Developer, and they are currently still with the company.

Robert Wapenaar studied IT at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1994 to 1997. Robert obtained a certification in Introduction to Big Data from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016.
