Tom Rutten

Tom Rutten has a diverse range of work experience. Tom started their career as a Front-end developer intern at Evident Interactive BV in 2012, where they focused on the research, design, and development of a mobile web app. Tom then worked as an SEO Consultant at Mila Sportprijzen in 2014. During this time, they also had internships as a Visual Designer at Colours and as a Bachelor Graduate Intern at Colours, where they worked on the research, design, and development of an IT product to enhance the user experience of a website. In 2016, Tom worked as a Master Graduate Intern at Coolblue before becoming an IT Trainee at de Volksbank. Starting from 2018, they worked as a Data Analyst and then a Data Engineer at Robeco. Additionally, Tom was a student in the Chinese Language Department at National Taiwan University in 2018 and was an IT-Specialist at Brunel from 2018 to 2020.

Tom Rutten earned a Master's Degree in ICT in Business (English, 2 years) from Leiden University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in ICT at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2014. In 2013 and 2014, they also pursued a Minor in Project- and program management at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Institute for Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Tom Rutten has obtained several certifications, including Databases en SQL Foundation from EXIN your ICT competence partner in October 2018, ITIL Foundation v3 (2011) from PeopleCert in October 2018, and Professional Scrum Master 1 from Scrum.org in September 2018.
