Robertson Properties Group (RPG) is a privately-held real estate company headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Since its formation in 1992, RPG’s property portfolio has grown to over five million square feet of commercial real estate assets in high-growth, high-barrier-to-entry sub-markets in California and Hawaii. Robertson Properties Group develops and operates the vast majority of its properties for its own account, directly overseeing the design, development, construction, and day-to-day operation of approximately fifty assets. 

RPG’s current portfolio includes grocery-anchored, big box, neighborhood, and entertainment retail centers, as well as industrial complexes and office buildings. National Real Estate Investor consistently ranks RPG as one of the nation’s top 100 owners and managers of retail real estate. Projects currently in development are larger in scale than existing assets and are typically mixed-use and transit-oriented in nature. 

The company is a long-term holder of its real estate, with many assets developed on land acquired in the 1950s, when Pacific Theatres operated drive-ins across southern California. Strategic asset sales and acquisitions are, however, part of RPG’s strategy, and the company is consistently active in the transaction market.
