Pragash V has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Pragash started their career at HCL Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they automated scripts for various protocols for Cisco Nexus switches, including L2 QoS, FEX, and VPC. Pragash also trained colleagues on a new Python framework for automation.
Afterwards, Pragash worked at the Rochester Institute of Technology as a Research Assistant, where they implemented the Cuckoo Algorithm into the VPP for faster IP lookup. Pragash optimized the code, resulting in a 65% performance increase in the IP6-lookup process.
Pragash then joined Juniper Networks as a Software Engineer 3, where they worked on Kubernetes deployment with Contrail networking and handled Openshift deployment for Contrail. Pragash also worked on the Operator-Framework for OKD and Contrail.
Currently, Pragash is a Senior Software Engineer at Robin.io, where they continue to contribute their software engineering expertise to the team.
Pragash V completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from SSN College of Engineering, from 2008 to 2012. Pragash also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College Of Engineering, although the start and end years for this degree are not provided.
