Daiwei Lu

Daiwei Lu is a Senior Software Engineer at Roblox since April 2023, focusing on building the Roblox Education experience across multiple platforms. Lu is also a Creator and Author for an open-source AI agent workflow builder project initiated in August 2023. Previously, Lu served as a Technical Consultant at a stealth startup, advising on full stack product MVP development and AI agent integration. Prior roles include Staff Software Engineer at Oculus VR, overseeing multiple VR teams, and Senior Software Engineer at Meta, leading the video publisher experience. Early career experiences include software engineering roles at Curiosity Media and a graduate assistantship at the University of Maryland, where Lu developed web applications. Daiwei Lu holds a Master's Degree in Information Management from the University of Maryland.
