Don McDaniel

Don McDaniel, J.D., currently serves as the Global Indirect Tax Director at Roblox since February 2024. Previously, McDaniel held the position of Director at Dollar Tree Stores, focusing on audits and controversies, as well as automation and indirect tax transformation from March 2022 to February 2024. McDaniel has extensive experience in global indirect tax, credits and incentives, and tax information reporting from roles at PayPal, where responsibilities spanned from Senior Director to Global Indirect Tax Director between August 2014 and March 2022. Past positions include managing indirect tax for major companies such as Best Buy, Target, and AT&T Mobile Tel. McDaniel's academic background includes a Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, a Master's in Public Administration from Hamline University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Alabama, along with a certificate in Legislative Studies from Georgetown University.
