Eric Porterfield

Eric Porterfield is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in policy communications and public affairs, currently serving as Senior Director, Policy Communications at Roblox and as a Community Member at Mixing Board. Prior to these roles, Eric held key positions at Meta, including Communications Director for Public Affairs and Product, where communication strategies were centered on integrity issues and social impact areas. Eric also led communication efforts at Facebook, managing initiatives for social impact and health-related projects. Earlier in the career, Eric served as Senior Communications Director for the United Nations Foundation, overseeing global campaigns, and held communications roles at the American Red Cross, focusing on humanitarian efforts. Eric holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's in International Relations and Affairs from Webster University.
