Janne P.

Janne P. is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Roblox since September 2023, previously serving as Chief Scientist at Speechly from February 2018 to December 2023. Prior to that, Janne held various positions at Amazon, including Senior Speech Scientist and Research Scientist, focused on automatic speech recognition from January 2013 to January 2018. Janne's academic background includes extensive research in automatic speech recognition as a researcher at Aalto University from June 2003 to December 2012, complemented by a Doctor of Science (Technology) degree in Computer and Information Science obtained from Aalto University between 1999 and 2013.
