Josh Allen

Josh Allen is an accomplished technical leader with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture, currently serving as the Technical Director of Accounts at Roblox since August 2022. Previously, Josh worked as a Freelance Writer at MODIPHIUS ENTERTAINMENT LTD, where character creation rules for "Star Trek Adventures" were adapted for solo/journaling-style play. A significant portion of Josh's career was spent at PayPal (2016-2022), where roles included Principal Engineer, Principal Architect, and Sr. MTS, Architect, focusing on architectural innovations in consumer financial services and remittance solutions. Josh has also held positions at Xoom, StubHub, Macrovision, NativeMinds, and Sabre Corporation, contributing to various software solutions and leading engineering teams. Educationally, Josh holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Williams College.
