Sergey Makeev

Sergey Makeev is an accomplished technical director with extensive experience in the gaming industry, currently serving as a Senior Technical Director at Roblox since January 2018, where involvement includes leading the Rendering Team. Prior to this role, Sergey worked at Mail.Ru Group from February 2011 to January 2018, serving as Warface Technical Director for console platforms and providing technical leadership for notable in-house games as Studio Technical Director. Sergey also held various technical leadership roles at SoftClub Company, 1C Entertainment, and Akella/Sea Wolf, focusing on game development and engineering across multiple projects, including the Age of Pirates series. Sergey holds educational qualifications from Saratov State Technical University and its college.
