Thiago Moraes is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in managing teams and driving product development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Roblox since June 2022, Thiago is focused on monetization within the Economy Group and successfully built the Roblox Subscriptions product. Prior to this, Thiago spent eight years at Meta in various engineering management roles, including leading teams for Messaging products like WhatsApp Business API and overseeing monetization efforts for WhatsApp. Early career experiences include roles at sociomantic labs GmbH as a Technical Account Manager and at Trópico Telecomunicações avançadas as a Software Engineer, alongside an internship at INPE involving data distribution solutions. Thiago holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from UFSCar and was an interchange student at Universidad Nacional del Litoral.
