Tom Hwang

Tom Hwang is currently the Director and Head of IP and Technology Licensing at Roblox Corporation, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, Tom served as Senior Counsel at Roblox from 2019 to 2023 and worked as an attorney at Dorsey & Whitney LLP from 2013 to 2019, focusing on financial strategies in distressed situations. They earned a J.D. in Environmental Law, cum laude, from Tulane University Law School after completing a B.A. at the University of California, Berkeley. Earlier in their career, Tom held various attorney positions and worked as a Product Manager at LookSmart, Inc., as well as interning with the Office of Environmental Policy and Compliance, DOI.
