Yachao Lu

Yachao Lu is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in data ingestion pipelines and machine learning services. Currently at Roblox since January 2020, Yachao has designed a comprehensive data ingestion pipeline and developed new ML prediction services. Prior experience at JD.COM included building an experimentation platform for A/B testing and creating an AutoML time-series prediction platform in a production environment. Earlier roles included a Graduate Research Assistantship at George Washington University, where Yachao developed an application called Timbr, and a Data Scientist Internship at the District Department of Transportation, focusing on data analysis for roadway operations. Yachao holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The George Washington University, along with a Master’s Degree from the same institution and a Bachelor’s from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
