David Fairchild

David Fairchild has worked in various roles as a controls engineer, applications engineer, plant engineer, computer lab attendant, mechanical engineer, and environmental consultant. David is currently a Senior Controls Engineer at Robochef since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at RSA, Inc. from August 2014 to August 2022 as an Applications Engineer. Besides, they worked as a Plant Engineer at Tate & Lyle from May 2014 to August 2014, a Computer Lab Attendant at NIU Information Technology Services (ITS) from August 2012 to May 2014, a Mechanical Engineer at Haynes-Bent, Inc. from March 2013 to January 2014, and an Environmental Consultant at Coggin and Fairchild Environmental Consultants Inc. from April 1998 to August 2013.

David Fairchild earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University in 2014. David has obtained numerous certifications, including advanced programming workshops in conveyor tracking and IEC robot control from Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division in November 2019, Parker Automation School: Mechanics Session from Parker Hannifin in April 2015, and eWON for Remote Maintenance from eWON sa in November 2014, among others. David completed motion control training from ACS Motion Control in January 2015, and distributor motion control training from ACS Motion Control in February 2016. David also completed ASP Boot Camp from Cognex Corporation in February 2014 and ASP Academy Training Event from NSK in January 2014. Finally, they completed factory training in basic product line from WAGO Corporation in October 2014.
