Suvro Datta

Suvro Datta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Suvro is currently working at InBios International, Inc. as the Senior Manager of Engineering, where they focus on engineering process automation and the development of new instrumentations for high-throughput production of diagnostic kits for COVID-19 and other diseases. Prior to their current role, Suvro worked at Google Robotics as a Mechanical Engineer III, where they were involved in the design and implementation of complex robotic systems for industrial automation. Before that, they worked at the Allen Institute for Brain Science as an Automation Engineer and at Tiasha Enterprises as an Owner. Furthermore, Suvro co-founded Robodub, a drone company, and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Suvro led the engineering team in developing the world's first Morphing drone with superior performance and maneuverability. Additionally, Suvro has research experience as a Research Faculty member at the University of Washington, where they conducted experimental work in space plasma physics and participated in NASA rocket experiments and spacecraft projects.

Suvro Datta completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University between 1985 and 1988. Suvro then pursued their Ph.D. in Space Physics at the University of Washington from 1988 to 1995.
