Mrinal Jain

RoboNav Software Lead

Mrinal Jain is an undergraduate researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on novel data augmentation techniques for enhancing robotic behavior cloning algorithms. As a co-founder of Synopta and a previous computer vision intern at GalaxEye, Mrinal developed a high-precision segmentation system for aquaculture pond analysis using satellite data. Experience as a RoboNav software member included leading a team in software development for a Mars rover project, achieving advanced autonomous navigation capabilities. Additional roles include a data science intern at Urban Company, where a customer feedback filtering system was created, and a summer intern at boxx.ai, where a deep learning model was developed for e-commerce applications. Mrinal holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, maintaining a 4.00 GPA.
