Sr. Director, Art & Creative at RoboKind

Souphia Ieng is the Sr. Director, Art & Creative at RoboKind. Souphia has over 10 years of experience in the field of animation and has worked on various projects for different companies.

Souphia started their career as an Artist Assistant at Charles Kendrick & Co., where they created blueprints in AutoCAD for the cutting laser, used the laser to cut pieces for the buildings, and laid out the extra details such as cars and trees. Souphia then moved on to UT Dallas, where they worked as the Animation Lead for the research project known as First-Person Cultural Trainer (FPCT), which was funded by the U.S Army. As lead animator, their duties included managing the animation team, communicating with other team leads (especially the modeling and programming teams) and working inside UDK creating animTrees and FaceFX.

After working on the FPCT project for 3 years, Souphia decided to move on to RoboKind, where they are currently the Sr. Director, Art & Creative. In this role, they are responsible for leading the art and creative team, as well as overseeing all art and design aspects of the company’s products.

Souphia Ieng began their educational career at Berkner High School where they earned their bachelors degree. Souphia then went on to earn their B.A in Arts and Technology from The University of Texas at Dallas.

They work with Joshua Jach - Vice President, Engineering, Mary Shaw - VP of Professional Learning, and Marissa Moyer - Director, Culture. Souphia Ieng reports to Richard Margolin, Founder & CEO.
