Derick Markwell has a wealth of experience in the engineering industry. Derick began their career in 1984 as a Snr Engineer at Worley Wholohan Grill. In 1991, they moved to Wapet as a Chief Facilities Engineer. In 1997, they became the Owner of ICON Engineering. From 2009 to 2018, they held various director roles, including Director at Ochre Energy, Non Executive Director at Hydra Energy, and Managing Director at Tensa Equipment and Roborigger.
Derick Markwell attended Brisbane Grammar from 1967 to 1971 and then The University of Queensland from 1972 to 1975, where they obtained a BE hons in Civil Structural.
