Mobile phones need an operating system, and so do surgical robots. Apple uses its proprietary iOS, while most other phones rely on Android. In surgical robotics, Intuitive, the market leader, powers its robots with Da Vinci OS4—just like Apple with iOS.

But there’s no Android equivalent for other surgical robots. That’s where our flagship software, MedOS, comes in. We aim to be the Android of surgical robotics. MedOS is a certifiable, hardware-agnostic software platform designed to accelerate time-to-market by up to 3X, enabling surgical robotics companies to innovate faster, scale more easily, and seamlessly integrate with a wide range of hardware.

We envision a future where MedOS becomes the standard, powering the next generation of surgical robots worldwide.
