Adam Dabrowski has extensive work experience in the field of robotics, simulation, and software engineering. Adam currently holds the position of VP of Robotics and Simulation at Robotec.ai since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at the same company from July 2021 to January 2023. Adam also served as a Technical Lead at Robocar Technologies (later renamed as Robotec.ai) from November 2017 to June 2021, where they led a team and worked on projects related to robotics, machine learning, and simulation using technologies such as ROS 2, C++, Python, Unity3D, and O3DE.
In addition to their roles at Robotec.ai, Adam has also gained experience in other organizations. Adam worked as an Independent Expert Evaluator for the European Commission, H2020 from June 2018 onwards. Adam was a Senior Software Engineer at the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP, where they led the OFERA H2020 project and developed the micro-ROS framework for robots from December 2017 to March 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same institute from April 2014 to April 2017, focusing on developing systems for mobile robots and participating in European research projects in robotics and space exploration, primarily using C++ and ROS.
Adam's career also includes previous roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Deloitte Poland and a Software Developer at DCC Labs, GG Network, and Gadu-Gadu, where they gained experience working with various technologies such as C++ (using QT and boost libraries) and Agile methodologies.
Before starting their career in the software industry, Adam worked as a System Analyst at PZU and Inter Polska, where they were involved in integrating large information systems using Agile methodologies in both positions.
Adam Dabrowski attended the University of Warsaw from 2001 to 2009, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS/Magister) degree in Information Technology. In addition, they also attended the same university in 2002 to 2003, but did not obtain a degree in the Interdisciplinary field of study.
