ROAM (Robotics Operation & Autonomous Mapping) is a multidisciplinary student engineering club focused on building advanced autonomous systems that can explore, perceive, and understand the world around them. We bring together students from mechanical, electrical, computer, software, geomatics, mechatronics, business, and media backgrounds to work on ambitious real-world robotics projects.

Our current flagship project is the development of an autonomous unmanned ground vehicle capable of generating high-accuracy 3D digital twins of its surroundings using LiDAR, cameras, onboard computing, and intelligent navigation systems. By combining robotics, mapping, artificial intelligence, and systems engineering, we aim to create technology with applications in exploration, infrastructure inspection, environmental monitoring, and remote operations.

ROAM exists to give students hands-on experience beyond the classroom through meaningful technical work, collaborative problem solving, and full-cycle product development. We value curiosity, discipline, ownership, and continuous learning. Whether designing hardware, writing software, processing spatial data, securing sponsors, or documenting progress, every member plays a critical role.

Our goal is to grow into a leading student innovation team that develops high-impact autonomous technology while building the next generation of engineers, creators, and problem solvers.
