Kyle Billy

CAD Engineer at RoboVent

Kyle Billy has a diverse range of work experience in engineering roles. Kyle started their career as a Data Verification Specialist at DNV, where they verified pipeline integrity by interpreting blueprints and inputting data into Excel spreadsheets. Kyle then moved on to N. Wasserstrom & Son as a Design Engineer, where they collaborated with customers and sales employees to create fabrication drawings and identify and fix manufacturing issues. After that, they worked at Ridge Corporation as an Engineering Technician, assisting with production projects and training customers on installation techniques. Kyle'snext role was as a Process Engineer at HFI, where they helped create written dispositions for Failure Modes Effects Analysis and implemented process improvement suggestions. Most recently, they worked at RoboVent as a CAD Engineer, applying engineering principles to develop solutions for industrial ventilation systems and analyzing and troubleshooting these systems.

Kyle Billy obtained an Associates of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design Technology from ITT Technical Institute-Columbus in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they attended Hocking College from 2005-2008, where they focused on Architectural and Mechanical Design but did not complete a degree. In addition to their formal education, Kyle has obtained several certifications in Industrial Ventilation Design and Diagnosis. Kyle received the certification in Industrial Ventilation Design-Non Standard Air from the Michigan Industrial Ventilation Conference in February 2019. In May 2018, they obtained the certification in Industrial Ventilation System Diagnosis and Troubleshooting from the North Carolina Occupational Safety and Health Education and Research Center. Furthermore, in May 2017, they received the certification in Industrial Ventilation Design Phase II, also from the North Carolina Occupational Safety and Health Education and Research Center.
