Robbert DeHaven has a diverse range of work experience. Robbert started their career as a Machine Operator at Punch Powertrain in 2016. In 2017, they worked as an IT support/General Administrative Assistant at BelgoAmerican, where they were responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, updating databases, and developing an Adobe Acrobat commenting plug-in.

In 2018, Robbert worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Key Technology, Inc. Robbert gained experience in software engineering during this internship.

From 2019 to 2020, Robbert was a Research Intern at the Bio-machines lab, ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Robbert adapted a fixed-wing plane to create a low-cost robotic platform for testing swarm robot behaviors. Robbert also used NEAT to evolve controllers for swarm patrolling.

Currently, Robbert is working as an AI Project Engineer at Robovision, starting in 2022.

Robbert DeHaven has a strong educational background in the field of technology and artificial intelligence. Robbert completed their Master of Science (MS) in Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology at UHasselt, where they studied from 2017 to 2018. Robbert also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Technology, which they obtained from UHasselt after completing their studies from 2014 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Robbert DeHaven has also obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera. Robbert achieved this certification in May 2020.
