Basma Ali

Basma Ali has a strong background in system administration and engineering. Basma started their career in 2009 as a Fresh Graduate at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt. Basma then worked as a System Administrator at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) from October 2014 to June 2015.

In 2015, Basma joined Online Technical Services (OTS) as a System Administrator and later became a Senior System Administrator from January 2019 to November 2019.

Basma's experience expanded when they joined Spirula Systems in November 2019. Basma initially worked as a Linux System Engineer and was responsible for various tasks, including mail migration from Exchange to iRedmail and the migration from Active Directory to OpenLDAP. Later on, they took on the role of a Senior Linux System Engineer, where they designed and executed the transformation of the entire environment from Windows to Linux-based systems and customized Linux distributions to replace Windows on employees' laptops. Their tenure at Spirula Systems lasted until June 2022.

Currently, Basma is working as a DevOps Engineer at Robusta Studio, starting from June 2022.

Basma Ali has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Alexandria University. Basma completed their degree from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, Basma attended El Ekbal National College from 1998 to 2009, but information regarding their degree or field of study is not available.

Basma Ali has also obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2022.
