Alan Hendrick

Alan Hendrick has extensive experience in the field of cell and molecular biology, with a significant academic and industrial background. From September 2006 to October 2016, Alan served as a Teaching By-Fellow at Churchill College, Cambridge, and as a Special Supervisor in Cell Biology at Newnham College, providing specialized tutorials for first-year students. In the pharmaceutical sector, Alan held various positions including Senior Scientist and Project Leader at Takeda, and Principal Scientist at STORM Therapeutics Limited, before becoming Senior Principal Scientist & Group Leader in Lead Discovery at Roche in September 2020. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from University College Cork, as well as a Diploma in Advanced Pharmacology from the British Pharmacological Society. Previous experience also includes a role as a Research Scientist at Paradigm Therapeutics and a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Cambridge.
