Amber Chen

Senior Bioinformatics Scientist

Amber Chen is an interdisciplinary engineer currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Roche, following a tenure as a Bioinformatics Scientist. They have over two years of scientific AI/ML research experience, specializing in ECG-based risk stratification and LGE-MRI image segmentation. Previously, Amber worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, where they built deep learning pipelines and developed applications to enhance data quality for clinical use. Amber holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Washington and another Master's in Biomedical Electronics and Bioinformatics from National Taiwan University, where they also completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
