Anastasios Moresis is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biomedical research and data integration. At Roche from May 2018 to May 2024, Moresis held the role of Principal Scientist, leading the in-vivo data integration product line and acting as Project Lead for the in-vivo data sharing platform. Previously, as a Senior Scientist, Moresis served as Product Owner for in-vivo registration systems and was a Business analyst for the same platform. Additionally, Moresis pioneered the implementation of automated workflows for antibiotics screening during a tenure as Research Informatics Scientist at Roche. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the Friedrich Miescher Institute, where Moresis utilized live imaging to study zebrafish brain activity and developed complex data analysis workflows. Moresis has also contributed to research on zebrafish heart development and the oncogenic pathway in Drosophila melanogaster. Moresis holds a Ph.D. in Biology/Neuroscience from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Clinical Trial Studies and Management from the University of Basel.
