Andrea Geistanger

Andrea Geistanger is a seasoned Data Science leader in the healthcare industry, currently serving as the Head of MassSpec Biostatistics at Roche, where they lead a team of Data Scientists, Bioinformaticians, and Biostatisticians. Previously, they held various roles within Roche, including Manager of Biostatistics and Junior Biostatistician, where they contributed significantly to technical and clinical performance evaluation projects. Andrea has also worked as a scientific employee at the University of Ulm and the Technische Universität Dortmund, engaging in statistics education. They earned a Ph.D. in Statistics from Technische Universität Dortmund and a Diplom in Economic Mathematics from Universität Ulm, both with highest honors.
