Previously, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) from 2013 to 2018, where they investigated antigen-specific CD4 T cell dynamics. Antigoni also held a position as a Visiting Researcher at the Ragon Institute, analyzing HIV-specific CD4 T cell transcriptomes. They earned their PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Crete, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Democritus University of Thrace, and are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health Care Administration/Management at Hellenic Open University.
