Axel Schiffmann is currently the Head of Pilot Plant & Systems Pharmaceutical R&D at F. Hoffmann La Roche Ltd and has been with the company since 2012. They also serve as the Group Head of GMP Manufacturing for IMP Phase 1-4 and are the Single Point of Contact for Blinding of Comparator. Prior to their current roles, they worked as a Laborleiter in GMP Manufacturing and Formulation Development between 2007 and 2012. Axel Schiffmann earned a Staatsexamen in Pharmacy from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Universität Basel.
