Baiyu Yang

Baiyu Yang is a seasoned epidemiologist with over 10 years of experience in observational studies and real-world evidence. Currently, as a Principal Quantitative Scientist at Roche, they utilize real-world data to enhance clinical decision support software and diagnostic assays while leading cross-functional teams. Previously, Baiyu completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, investigating the links between metabolic conditions and liver cancer risk. They also contributed to notable research at Stanford University, focusing on liver cancer biomarkers and disparities. Baiyu earned a Bachelor of Medicine in Preventive Medicine from Fudan University and a PhD in Epidemiology from Emory University.
