Birte Aggeler

Birte Aggeler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in antibody development and diagnostics. Currently serving as Project Lead Companion Diagnostics and Senior Director of Tissue Diagnostics at Roche since January 2019, Birte previously held the position of Director of Antibody Development at Bio-Techne from June 2013 to December 2018, where responsibilities included managing the antibody development pipeline and coordinating testing across various platforms. Prior to this, Birte served as Director of Antibody Development at Ventana Medical Systems, overseeing a large team focused on immunohistochemistry assays, and held the role of Staff Scientist at Life Technologies for a decade. Birte's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Master of Science in Biology from Universität Osnabrück.
