Carla Winter, PhD, is currently the Team Lead R&D at Roche Diagnostics GmbH, where they lead the Elecsys Assay Development for cardiac applications. They previously worked as an Expert Start Up Scientist at Roche, focusing on the development of heterogeneous immunoassays. Carla completed a postdoctoral research position at LMU - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they investigated the role of circadian rhythms in atherosclerosis. Their earlier experiences include research internships at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and Harvard Medical School, along with earning a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Molecular Medicine from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau.
