Daniel McCombs, PE, is a seasoned R&D executive with over two decades of experience in leading innovation and empowering teams. They began their career as a Design Engineer at Stryker Instruments from 1990 to 1996, before advancing to positions such as Chief Engineer in Neurosurgical & Advanced Guidance Technologies. Daniel transitioned to Roche, where they held the role of Head of Instrument Development from 2019 to 2023 and is currently the Vice President of Pathology Development. Previously, they contributed as a Project Manager at Microaire Surgical Instruments and as a Project Engineer at Medtronic. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University and pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
