David Richards

David Richards is a Senior Principal Scientist at Roche, specializing in immunology, infectious diseases, and ophthalmology. With a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Cancer Biology from the University of Minnesota, they have extensive experience in inflammatory diseases, particularly cancer, autoimmunity, and infectious diseases. Previously, they held roles as a Director at Apogenix AG and a Project Leader at both the Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum and Bayer HealthCare, where they contributed to the development of novel therapeutic strategies and vaccine candidates. Their postdoctoral work at UCLA focused on high-throughput screening for bacterial virulence factors and vaccine strategies.
