Debra Liggett

Debra Liggett is a Senior Scientist at Roche Molecular Diagnostics, where they have worked since 2012, supporting the Global Surveillance program and optimizing next-generation sequencing workflows for infectious diseases. Prior to this role, Debra was a Scientist I/II at Roche from 2009 to 2012, focusing on the development of clotting and production techniques for armored RNA and DNA. Debra also served as a Research Scientist II at Merck from 1988 to 1999, researching interleukins and managing core facilities for DNA oligonucleotide synthesis. Debra is currently pursuing a B.A. in Genetics at UC Berkeley.
