Dorit Prüfer is currently the Chapter Lead Device Quality Europe at Roche. Previously, they held the position of Regional Head Device Quality in Basel and served as Team Lead and Senior Technical Manager for External Quality at Roche. With a comprehensive background in quality assurance and regulatory roles, Dorit worked at Berlin Heart GmbH from 2001 to 2011, where they led quality initiatives for ventricular assist devices and contributed to the first IDE submission of an LVAD. Dorit also gained valuable experience during an internship and diploma thesis at Dräger in 1996-1997 and participated in an intercultural project with Operation Mobilization in 1999-2000.
