Esther Melo

Esther Melo has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in business development roles at Roche, where positions included BD&L Director and BD&L Senior Manager for Pharma Partnering from January 2018 to July 2022, as well as BD&L Manager for Neuroscience, Ophthalmology, and Rare Diseases. In academic settings, Esther developed expertise through a PhD in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Barcelona, complemented by visiting PhD positions focused on decellularization techniques at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz and UTMB. Additional experience includes serving as a Confocal Microscopy Technician at the Centre de Medicina Regenerativa de Barcelona, where responsibilities encompassed image acquisition and support for researchers. Esther Melo holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnological Industry from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
