Felix Schmidt

Felix Schmidt is an accomplished Technical Development Scientist at Roche since May 2025, specializing in impurity profiling and structure elucidation of synthetic peptides using chromatography and mass spectrometry. Previously, Felix held positions as a Research Assistant, Scientific Assistant, and doctoral candidate at the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute at University of Tuebingen, where methods for immunoaffinity-based assays and nano LC-MS/MS were developed. As a Scientist at Signatope GmbH from October 2019 to July 2021, Felix led a project on drug-induced kidney injury, focusing on peptide analytics and method validation. Prior experiences include roles as Study Director at Swiss BioQuant AG, ensuring GLP and GCP compliance and developing highly sensitive LC-MS/MS methods, and conducting micropollutant analysis during bachelor and master thesis projects. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Chemistry, a Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry and Quality Assurance, and a Dr. rer. nat. in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen.
