Francesco Brizzi

Senior Scientist

Francesco Brizzi is an experienced scientist with a strong background in biostatistics and pharmacometrics. At Roche, Francesco held the position of Senior Scientist, focusing on early-phase ophthalmology projects that involved reusing historical control data and pharmacometrics modeling. Prior to this role, Francesco served as a Postdoctoral Researcher, working on integrating big-data with non-linear mixed-effect pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic models. Francesco's research experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at the MRC Biostatistics Unit, where development of statistical methodologies for monitoring the HIV epidemic was key, alongside collaboration with Public Health England. Additionally, during the PhD at the University of Cambridge, Francesco acquired teaching experience by supervising courses in R programming. Francesco holds a Master of Science in Mathematics Operational Research Statistics Economics from the University of Warwick and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biostatistics from the University of Cambridge.
