Global Head Of Pred Facilities And Infrastructure Projects

Geo Adam possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, particularly in project leadership and development within global organizations. At Roche, from August 2007 to December 2014, Geo served as the Global Head of pRED Facilities and Infrastructure Projects, managing significant Capex projects across Switzerland, Germany, and Mainland China. Additional roles included leading site development efforts in Basel-Kaiseraugst, co-developing a Site Master Plan with an investment exceeding 3.5 billion CHF, and acting as business project leader for a 250 million CHF laboratory building project focused on GMP environments. Prior to Roche, from August 1991 to January 1996, Geo held the position of Head of the enantioselective synthesis group at BASF, where responsibilities included the synthesis of enantiomerically pure intermediates for pharmaceuticals and fragrance industries. Geo's academic background includes a Vordiplom in Chemistry from the University of Freiburg and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from ETH Zürich.
