Gerardo Castro

Gerardo Castro is an experienced LAN/WAN Engineer with over two decades in the networking field, currently employed at Roche Pharmaceuticals since October 2000. Key responsibilities include the configuration, installation, and support of more than 500 network devices, encompassing routers, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, wireless controllers, and access points, as well as participation in the Data Center Support team. Prior to this role, Gerardo served as an IT Lead Analyst Network Support at Lucent Technologies from 1997 to 2000, where skills in configuring and maintaining Cisco routers for various link types were developed. Gerardo holds certifications in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the Chubb Institute and the New Jersey Institute of Networking Technologies.
