Hai Liang

Hai Liang is currently a Principal Scientist at Roche in Shanghai, focusing on translational medicine research and biomarker assays. They previously held positions as a Senior Scientist and Principal Scientist at Qilu Pharmaceuticals and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where they developed statistical models for cancer immunotherapy responses. Hai's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Delaware and an MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Sun Yat-sen University, along with a BS in Biotechnology from the same institution. During their graduate studies, they designed and patented a novel methodology for metabolic labeling of bacterial cell walls and conducted significant research on antibiotic compounds.
