Hanjun Shin

Hanjun Shin is a Computational Biologist and Research Scientist, currently serving as a Principal Bioinformatics Scientist II at Roche since 2024. With a robust educational background, Hanjun earned a Ph.D. in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the University of Southern California, following a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Korea University. Previous roles include positions at Agilent Technologies, where Hanjun led machine learning projects and developed bioinformatics algorithms, and internships at Illumina and Guardant Health, focusing on RNA-Seq analysis and bioinformatics. Hanjun possesses extensive skills in data analysis, software development, and high-performance computing.
