Heike Denghel is a scientist with extensive experience in analytical and food chemistry. From July 2016 to December 2021, Heike served as a PhD student at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, conducting in vitro and in vivo metabolism studies on organic UV absorbing compounds and biomonitoring metabolites in human biological specimens. Following this, Heike held a postdoctoral position at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen from December 2021 to June 2022, focusing on biomonitoring organic UV absorbers in human plasma and method development.
